Founded by Jeremy and Georgina Verzal, Little Mountain Farm is a culmination of their lifelong dream to return to their agricultural roots integrating their passion for farming with their commitment to serving the community. Their vision came to life and evolved into a family-owned business rooted in the values of faith, hard work, dedication and love for farm life.
Jeremy's deep-rooted connection to farm life began on a farm in Atkinson, NE, where he not only grew up but also worked tirelessly. Despite entering the Utility Power Industry fresh out of high school and dedicating nearly 30 years to it, Jeremy never lost sight of his vision and goal to return to farm life. With an Associate Degree in Utility Line and a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Jeremy brings a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to the family venture.
Georgina’s early years were spent on a farm in the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a child, her favorite memories revolve around fetching eggs, milking cows, and witnessing the miracle of new life as piglets and calves were born. Coming from a family of world-renowned Christian leaders, Georgina herself is an Christian Inspirational Author/Speaker, dedicated to spreading faith, hope and encouragement locally and across the globe.
Since they met, Jeremy and Georgina have shared the vision of someday returning to their “farm roots” and owning a farm of their own. Guided by faith, they were led to the beautiful town of Sherrills Ford, NC where Little Mountain Farm was established. Both of their children’s families quickly followed suit, and now, their entire family resides in Sherrills Ford, making it truly a multigenerational family farm. With two grown, married children and five grandchildren, the Verzal family is not just a business but a tight-knit community dedicated to serving God through serving their local community. Little Mountain Farm & Cattle Co. is more than a business—it's a labor of love, a testament to family values, and a commitment to providing the community with the finest farm-raised beef.
